“I swear Medic will never have a good life.”

the first time I watched it 3 years ago, I understood everything. but 3 years later I realised that I understood shit. 3 years ago when my days were to buy tons and tons of keys to play man vs. machine, I thought I got why red and blue wanted to kill each other so badly. but bro what is this.

by all means this is a very cool movie. set aside the game itself, it can stand alone as a movie. it's absolutely terrifying, with twists and turns that fuck up all brains that watched it, numerous times during my second watch I had to jump because what do you mean there is a head looking at you from the wall then just fell down. the sound designs were on point, visuals are haunting. however, it was hard to understand the story fully if you don't know why engineer has a brother that lives in the respawn machine.

with the game coming along, it had amazing voice acting, great chemistry between everyone, art style is spot on, it was both nostalgic and endearing to see the whole TF2 comes to life like this.

however I was furious after the credit rolled, almost 2 hours of being on edge, I did not get any closure, the movie stuck in my brain with this enormous stress that didn't die with Medic and his exploded eyeballs.

in conclusion, great cinematics, great efforts, no emotional reliefs, great acting, lovely visuals, unintentionally funny, and perfect murder scenes.
